Lecture by Alex Marshall
Wednesday, October 17, at 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM
Lincoln House - 113 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
Free - pre-registration is required.
Alex Marshall (LF 2000) discusses his new book, Surprising Design of Market Economies, and his premise that no market exists apart from government. He tells stories about how governments created the many institutions that have given rise to our modern markets, and will talk about how we can more actively design these systems that shape our lives, rather than leaving them to the courts and the lobbyists.
