A community in decline, divided by decades of anti-social traffic engineering, is reunited and revitalized by streetscape redesign. Poynton Regenerated shows how the village of Poynton, England, established détente between pedestrians and motorists by reining a high traffic intersection back into the fabric of the community.

    Great video – really pleased you guys highlighted this and one of my Twitter followers sent me this way. It’s incredible more councils can’t achieve the same thing and I’m pleased to see that there wasn’t even a downside to drivers eventually who actually get to work faster with fewer lanes!
